Night Of The Living Dead

The first of George A Romero's zombie classics. Originally chastised for being too explicit, this expertly shot and nail-bitingly tense film chronicles the attempted survival of a group of people trapped in a rural farmhouse awaiting daylight to make good their escape. Night of the Living Dead was selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the National Film Registry as a film deemed "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant."
